ITscope brings the industry together: That was the FutureWork Expo 2025

Written by Sylvia Schreiber | 6.6.2025

On June 4, 2025, the “Alter Schlachthof” creative park in Karlsruhe became the meeting point for the ICT industry. The ITscope FutureWork Expo brought together system houses, specialist retailers, distributors, and manufacturers.

Early start and expert insights

By 9 a.m., the hall was already bustling with numerous guests. After a brief welcome, the event kicked off with short presentations by the attending exhibitors and sponsors. A keynote by Paul Martin (equipme) on the main stage sparked lively discussions with his provocative thesis on the end of the system house era.

Another highlight was the presentation by TD SYNNEX on Microsoft Copilot. The “Vision Hub” presentation room was packed to the last seat, underlining the strong interest in practical AI use cases. Similarly, the session by topi on next-generation IT procurement attracted significant attention. Further talks by IONOS, Securepoint, and ESET provided additional impulses on topics like cloud infrastructure and IT security.

Personal exchange in a friendly atmosphere

The organizers were pleased with the outcome of the expo. Oliver Gorges, Director of Sales & Marketing at ITscope, summed it up: “The FutureWork Expo once again proved how important personal conversations are in our industry. It was great to see so many familiar faces and make new connections. The crème de la crème of the channel was definitely present!”

Visitors were equally enthusiastic. Helmut Schmidt from Ganymed Electronics & Services remarked:
“I think it's fantastic that events like this exist, and I truly appreciate the opportunity to engage with so many IT companies.”

Numerous conversations and positive feedback

The event's atmosphere was warm and familiar, fostering intense and productive conversations. Exhibitors also gave positive feedback. Judith Öchsner, Head of Sales at dexxIT, emphasized:
“The FutureWork Expo provided an excellent opportunity to stay in direct contact with our customers and partners. Together with Canon, we were able to demonstrate how modern technologies can make the workplace efficient, flexible, and future-proof.”

ITscope's new Managing Director, Dr. Oliver Charles, took the opportunity to immerse himself in the channel scene. “I took so much away from this event,” he concluded. “The dialogue with our partners and customers gave me valuable insights into the needs and challenges of the industry” – a successful debut for Charles. “A well-coordinated ITscope team, exciting talks, and a unique location made the day perfect,” he added.

The next ITscope FutureWork Expo has not yet been scheduled – but the positive feedback and strong engagement from sponsors and partners clearly point to a continuation. Anyone interested in joining can already reach out to ITscope.
