In the form of short video tutorials, we demonstrate useful features of the ITscope platform in a quick and understandable way.
In the first tutorials, we showed how to set up supplier accounts, optimise your shopping carts and trigger orders. After that, we introduced you to various applications for the export function, and now our focus is on the quote function.
With the quote function, you can use ITscope to create attractive quotes featuring your corporate design and then send these digitally to your customers. Text templates allow filling pre- and post-text in your quotes and can be edited at any time. Via the ITscope catalogue, you can access more than 3 million items in realtime and include additional product details in the line items of your quote. The quote function is available as an add-on starting from ITscope Business.

Creating quotes
There are several ways to create quotes in ITscope. Most commonly, this is done via the quote page, but it is also possible to create a quote directly from the product page, from a product collection, via the product search or via drag-and-drop.

Calculation view
In the calculation view, individual products or free text line items can be entered and edited, and individual line items can be deleted. Surcharge and discount line items can also be created and calculated automatically by adjusting the 'Total net price' field. The margin calculation provides you with an overview of how many products your quote contains, as well as what margin will result from the configured quote.

Customise and send quotes
The quote view gives you the option to customise your quote with further texts and details. The quote texts and closing provisions are taken from the company-wide settings by default and can be supplemented or overwritten with individual details.
Additional individual items, such as special services offered by your system house, can also be added here. If you are already using the product designer add-on, the product search can be used to retrieve and add any service products that have been created.
In the quote, you also have the option of exchanging information concerning the quote directly with your customer via chat, flexibly and regardless of the time. An illustrative example can be found in the following video:

Quote purchasing board
In the quote area, a separate purchasing board can be found, with the same optimisation options as the multi-shopping-cart purchasing board. However, there are some important points to consider - we will show you what these are in the following video:

Company-wide settings
Company-wide settings apply to all quotes that are sent using the quote function - regardless of the sender.
In the 'start number' field, enter a starting number after which each sent quote will be numbered consecutively. In the templating settings, you can enter a standard text for the quote header, the item texts and a quote footer, individualised for your company.
