Search, filter, sort and order: in our video series everything revolves around the product page. You are probably already familiar with the product page - but a look at our videos is worthwhile in any case, even for 'ITscope experts', as we introduce you to many different functions that you probably have not used before.
In the first tutorials we showed you how to set up supplier accounts, optimise your shopping carts and place orders. In subsequent video series, we looked at the various use-cases of the export function and the quote function, and now we are looking at the product page.
The product page is central to your product research and procurement process. The product portal contains thematically grouped product categories as a starting point for your product search. Here you can search for products, discover top products and your favourites, as well as view a wide range of product information for a single product and compare available sources of supply.
All details about the product page can be found in these following videos and also in our ITscope Guide.
Several options exist to allow searching for products on ITscope. The first and easiest option is to use the global full text search via the search bar at the top of the platform. However, if you or your customer do not have a precise product in mind yet, but for example have exact requirements for performance in a certain price segment, then the product category selection and its extensive filter options are a good way to find the right product.

The product page provides you with all the information about a product. This includes sources of supply with their respective prices, street prices, high-resolution product images and detailed descriptions.

The product comparison allows you to compare the technical specifications of up to five products. At the touch of a button, you can recognise the most important differences and make informed purchasing decisions.
On the product page you will also find detailed information on available sources of supply as well as different filter and sorting options.

The filter tag function is used to change the sources of supply list that is shown. This allows you to label sources of supply, group, hide or name them to structure your in-house workflows and make them more efficient.

Collections allow you to save frequently requested products to make them easier to access. But they can also be used as a template for creating quotes or orders.
