Throwback: Celebrating 20 years of ITscope

ITscope has not only witnessed but also played a significant role in shaping the IT industry's transformation. Almost two decades ago, the Karlsruhe-based company started as a price comparison tool for IT product procurement. Transparency has always been a core focus for ITscope. "We are still the go-to platform for searching distributors or alternative procurement options," explains Benjamin Mund, CEO and founder. In October 2023, the Karlsruhe company hosted a grand birthday celebration and anniversary fair. Numerous industry experts and enthusiasts attended the event, making it an unforgettable experience. "We have demonstrated that ITscope not only unifies the channel on one platform but also promotes the establishment of business relationships between retailers, distributors, and manufacturers," says Oliver Gorges, Head of Channel Development at ITscope.

Status Quo: Tailored solutions for system integrators

Another highlight of 2023 was the revamp of ITscope's product structure. It is now completely tailored to the specific needs of system houses. With the modular product packages for procurement and sales, both small IT service providers and top-tier system houses can benefit from ITscope. The procurement solutions range from transparent market insights from over 400 distributors across Europe to digitized, optimized IT procurement, and even full electronic automation through EDI. In the sales area, the offerings span from editable online quotes to complete e-commerce solutions for the B2B sector. "By combining procure and sales packages, system integrators can unleash their full potential and take their business to a whole new level," explains Benjamin Mund.

Future Vision: Streamlined ITC trade

For 2024, ITscope aims to further simplify trade in the IT and communication sector. "The future of ITscope lies in integrating processes that enable effective collaboration between system integrators and their customers from the industry," says Mund. "This means that we not only connect ERP systems and purchasing processes with ITscope but also ensure seamless integration with industrial customers and public clients. Additionally, we are embracing the shift towards as-a-service business models and integrating purchasing and sales in increasingly efficient processes – every day.
