ITscope strengthens its leadership team with an experienced industry expert, setting the course for the next phase of development.
ITscope GmbH is reinforcing its management team: as of 1 June, Dr Oliver Charles has joined ITscope as Managing Director. With his extensive experience in digital business models, he will support the strategic development of the company alongside co-founder Benjamin Mund.
Setting a new course with vision and fresh impetus
Oliver Charles brings over 15 years of experience in the digital and e-commerce sector, most recently as Chief Solutions Officer and part of the management team at OXID eSales AG.
“I am very much looking forward to further developing ITscope together with the strong team and providing new impetus for our customers,” says Charles. “ITscope delivers something that has become indispensable in the ICT channel: genuine market transparency and seamless processes between system houses, distributors, and manufacturers. I see great potential in further expanding ITscope as a central driver for digitalisation and growth in the industry – and I look forward to meeting many of our customers in person at the ITscope FutureWork Expo in Karlsruhe on 4 June.”
A strong signal for ITscope's future direction
Benjamin Mund, who founded ITscope in 2003 together with Alexander Münkel and Stefan Reger, welcomes the appointment of Oliver Charles as an important step forward: “After more than two decades of intensive development work, the time is right for ITscope to bring new perspectives into the leadership team. ITscope has evolved significantly during this period – most recently as part of the Exact Group. We are confident that Oliver is exactly the right person to support ITscope in its next phase of development.”
