What certifications are available?
What does EPEAT stand for?
EPEAT stands for the “Electronic Product Environmental Assessment Tool.” With over 30,000 registered products from more than 50 manufacturers worldwide – including Asus, Dell, HP, and Lenovo – EPEAT serves as an important guide for retailers and buyers to select energy-efficient and environmentally friendly products. To receive an EPEAT label, manufacturers must prove compliance with EPEAT criteria through independent Conformity Assessment Bodies (CABs). EPEAT is categorized into three levels: Bronze, Silver, and Gold.
What does TÜV / GS stand for?
The German TÜV awards various environmental labels, including the Green Product Mark, which meets strict sustainability criteria. Products that receive this label are evaluated for energy efficiency, recyclability, and the use of non-toxic materials.
What does 80 Plus mean?
The 80 Plus certification is an environmental label for power supplies, evaluating their energy efficiency. Power supplies with this label operate more efficiently and consume less power. Various levels exist, including Bronze, Gold, Platinum, and Titanium, indicating the power supply's efficiency.
What is the Blue Angel?
The "Blue Angel" is a well-recognized environmental label that has been awarded in Germany for over 40 years for particularly environmentally friendly products and services. Products that carry the "Blue Angel" meet strict criteria in areas such as energy efficiency, resource conservation, and environmental sustainability.
Additional certifications
With the “Certification” filter, you can not only filter products by sustainability labels, but also by additional certifications. These certifications primarily focus on product safety, electromagnetic compatibility, or health and safety requirements. For example, filters are available for CE, FCC, EN 60950, or ISO standards.
